Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of both the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she won gold on both the team floor and the individual events. Bronze was taken by her balance bar. She became one of the very first American gymnast in the Olympics with the highest number of medals. In 2016, the Olympics brought her gold in the team event, earning both she as well as Gabby the honor as the first Americans ever to win consecutive team golds. Additionally, she took home two silver medals, one for the floor exercise as well as an individual all-around. Three years have passed between her last appearance in gymnastics competitions. In addition she was part of two gold-winning American team in gymnastics. Her favorite event is the flooring exercise. She started learning gymnastics when she was two years young. Aly supports an organization called the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. She would like to become an entrepreneur in fashion and broaden the range of her Leotards and socks in near future. Fierce is a novel she plans to release later in the year.
